Media Player Classic - Home Cinema Tutorial #3 - How to Manage Your Playlists
What we have here is a really fast, solid and, above all, free multimedia player for Windows-based machines. Media Player Classic - Home Cinema's capacity to play almost any media file you may stumble upon comes from its built-in codec pack and makes of this powerful free media player one of the most popular among Windows users. This tutorial is about playlists management.
For you to be able to follow this tutorial in the best way I suggest you have Media Player Classic ready to run in your computer. If you don´t, just click on the “Download” button on top of this page to get the InstallIQTM installation manager that will guide you through the setup process.
Assuming you've already created a playlist with some audio or video files and you want to save it, all you have to do is to right-click on the playlist manager area and select “Save As...”
an Explorer-like window will open where you can select the destination folder and the name of the playlist. Notice that Media Player Classic saves playlists in the MPCPL format.
Click “Save” and you're done.
If you want to delete an item from your current playlist just right-click on it and select “Remove” from the menu. Alternatively you can press “Del” on your keyboard.
If you want to wipe the entire playlist then select “Clear” from the right-click menu.
If you want to load a previously saved playlist you have to open Windows Explorer and browse you folders to the designated playlist folder and double click on the playlist you want to load.
Media Player Classic will open and the first item of the playlist will start playing.
You can also drag and drop the file to the playlist manager, but doing so won't start playing the first item.
Besides saving, loading and deleting you can also perform other actions like sorting (by path or label), randomize the playback order, restore the playback, shuffle the items, make the playlist to be remembered (on by default) and the last but not less interesting option is to hide the playlist manager during fullscreen playback.
Playlist management is easy as 1, 2, 3 with Madia Player Classic. Give this amazing free media player a try by clicking on the link below. No cost, no registration, full satisfaction!!
