VLC Tutorial # 7 – How to Make VLC Your Default Media Player

Of course you need to have VLC installed and running in your PC to be able to perform this adjustments. You can also do and select more than one file association at a time by opening the VLC media player and going to Tools > Preferences in there go to the Interface Settings button on top of the left panel and in the File associations section click on the “Set up associations...” button it will take you to the Set Default Programs Section of the Control Panel.

Once there you can select as many file types as you want by checking the boxes.
