Digsby is an all in one IM application with a very carefully built graphical look This multiprotocol IM program allows you to check your e-mail, access your instant messaging accounts and even do your social networking from a single and neat interface. Digsby allows you to chat with your contacts from AIM, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Google Talk and Jabber, check your latest messages in Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL / AIM Mail and IMAP and POP accounts, and keep yourself updated on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter. Internet gives us the opportunity to use a lot of different communication services, from e-mail to VoIP systems through instant messaging or social networks. However, when we need to access one or more of these services we have to rely on web applications or desktop clients that in most cases support only one service, so, we find ourselves with a real mess in our desktop which ends up stuffing our desktop with browser windows/tabs and multiple IM apps running wich subsequently eat up our precious system resources, not to mention the waste of time it means to manage all these tools.

Fortunately, since 2007 when it was first launched, we can count on Digsby to make things easier for us. So, what does Digsby offer? Instant messaging, e-mail management, and a plus of social networking in a single interface which, in my opinion, is one of the easiest to use, and you can believe me, I've tried a lot of multiprotocol IMs including freeware, shareware, trials, betas, demos, and even commercial ones.
